My favorite spot for a snowboard wax. I used to go all the way to REI until I found this shop here in my hood. Love supporting small shops in the neighborhood. They have a parking lot, which is HUGE!! My board is always done in 24-48 hrs. Awesome!!

I had a pair of bindings installed and from beginning to end they were complete professionals! They explained what needed to be done, inspected my equipment, and made some recommendations that I could act on.

One note about the site is that the parking is in the rear of the building.

I will definitely use their services for any future work!

  Amazing service and prices. I brought my bike in for a tune up - it only cost me $12 and was ready the next day. Contrast that with REI's weeks long wait and minimum $40-$50! So happy to have found a local shop with reasonable prices and I noticed the shifting in my road bike was smoother afterwards as well.

  Dropped my snowboard off for a tune on Friday, got a text it was ready for pickup on Saturday! Very reasonable prices and much easier to have it done ahead of time versus at the mountain. Will definitely be back.

  I just rode my bike after getting some work done here. I am a harsh critic of things that cost me money, but I will happily pay for the type of service the folks at Stubborn Goat provide. They did spot-on what I wanted and needed, and the price was fair and exactly what they said they would charge when I dropped my bike off. They were nice but not saccharine nice. Which is, in my opinion, the mark of great service. They fixed a flat, broken spoke, new cassette, and new chain. I don't feel like you can give an honest review without saying something negative. So the one downfall of Stubborn Goat bike shop is that they are not closer to my home, but I really can't fault them for that. Thank you again!

  Hands down the best service for a bike shop in San Diego they are generous , polite and they do an outstanding job.

  I went in to this bike shop thinking I needed a tune up, but after looking at it they said everything looked good and I didn't need one. I've used them before and they're very competent. It's rare to find businesses that are both great at what they do and honest. I will definitely be using them again.

  Repaired my tire in less than 10minutes and the price was very competitive. If I'm ever in need of help again when I'm the area I'll go here. I would highly recommend this repair shop.

  I'm one of those bike lovers who's done a 500 mile tour in ten days, completed a century ride, and commuted 8 miles for work for 7 years, but is still almost entirely incompetent at working on my bike, which is why having a trustworthy bike mechanic like is super important to me. Everyone at Stubborn Goat are incredibly knowledgeable, honest, AND no makes me feel like the cycle-underclass because I have no idea how to work on my bike. 🙂 Don't hesitate if you need a great local mechanic!

  Riding my bike last weekend and my grips failed. I stopped in this shop since it is in my neighborhood. Sam has good deals on accessories and he even threw them on my bike on the spot. Great shop, I will be back for bike service / parts plus I'll be dropping off my boards for a proper waxing.
